Back in the Philippines

Dear friends. I’m glad to be back to the Philippines after a successful North American book launching. I am doing several speaking engagements in Manila (and soon in Cebu). Please watch this blog for updates.

Your sharing last Thurs evening (Jan 12) in Central District D of Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon Community was an inspiring to us singles. Dreaming BIG is no big deal at all. God is so faithful and generous every. I've just finished reading Chapter 1 and I was really amazed by how you've been so brave enough to becoming an enthusiastic person and so eager to write your book. I am sure that "The Tale of Juliet" is really meant to be read and will be reading from generation to generation. I am happy to meet you and welcome back. We hope to see you again. Godspeed! Hello!

I accidentally came across your book website yesterday (thru Goggle) and was so amazed of your great accomplishments and saw the photos and write-ups and really it was so wonderful.

Many times (since yesterday), I thought I shouldn’t write but as a sign of respect and honor to you I realized I must. After all, I had memories of Yemen too!…remember that evening restaurant dinner of plateful of soup with your girlfriend (I forgot her name) and Ernie in Sana’a? But later (in 1985) I was sent to Bajil and it was the loneliest part of my life and everyday all I did was chew Qat with the local tribe.

Anyway, I now live with my wife Nacy (not Nala of Lion King movie…joke- she was my childhood friend and that girl on the photo taped on the wall) with our 14 yr old son Keith (not Kirala…) and 8 year old daughter Michelle here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I was not so very successful with my aspirations but luckily we are happy, healthy and safe here.
